Remembering those we have lost, this Christmas.

This is our first Christmas without our daughter, Ella, so it is an important time for reflection.

Nothing was ever going to fill the empty space left behind in Ella’s room, but we decided that we should buy a fresh tree this year and decorate it to remind us of the many bright moments we all had together.

Many people are going through a very hard year and we made/wrote a few Christmas products/poems, which focus on loss and being away from people we love, which, we hope, provide some positive images, as we approach the winter break.

Our promise to Ella

As we begin to reflect upon the last few weeks, our family is looking back at all the many gifts our daughter gave us.

We were informed after a few months that Ella may not be with us for long but she defied the odds many times and battled on for 11 years.

Galena Wellbeing was a business idea inspired by the difficulties which we faced as a family devoted to Ella's care and our desire to create products and poems/rhymes and services to help others.

Our daughter taught us to find ways to get through the most impossible of situations and we will always be grateful to her for showing us how to endure.

We will love you forever, Ella.
